Traditional coffee cups use PE (polyethylene plastic) or PLA (plant-based plastic) layers to stop liquid from soaking through the paper. Aqueous coating is a water-based dispersion lining that seals the paper without forming a separate plastic film. This means the cup breaks down naturally like normal paper.

Do I need specific lids for an 80mm cup?

Any standard 80mm lid will fit this 10oz cup securely. You can pair it with sugarcane/bagasse, paper, or recyclable lid options available in our store.
